A BIG thank you to everyone that participated in the local Remembrance Day parade and service.
Thanks to all the veterans and members of the Legion that attended and were able to parade.
Thanks to the New Hamburg Band for keeping everyone in step along the parade route; to the members of the Police Force and Fire Department for their attendance.
Thanks to Susan Idsinga and the members of the Waterloo-Oxford Choir, just an awesome job again this year; to Mayor Les Armstrong, Harold Albrecht, MP and Michael Harris, MPP.
We were graced with the presence of the Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Her Excellency Kova Spiric, which was truly an honour.
We cannot miss thanking Rev. Bob Thaler for his excellent inspirational words, great job again this year.
Thanks to Comrades Charlie Bronson and Craig Price for keeping the wreath laying ceremony professionally done.
Thanks to Miss Kayla Foy of Wellesley, who was the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Poem Winner of 2015. She read her poem at the service.
We must also thank all the people and the arena staff that assisted with the hall set up and clean up.
Everyone working together made this an excellent Remembrance Day.
